Leasing Professional for The Trestles Apartments

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Trestles Apartments. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive approach to market research and community promotion.

Required skills

• Experience with OneSite property management software.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing, especially Facebook.
