Leasing Professional – Elan Brookwood

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for the Elan Brookwood community, a 395‑unit garden‑style property in Austell. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets through proactive leasing activities and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues and confirm readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospects.
• Knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening and background checks.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for lease preparation and unit inspections.
