Leasing Professional – Downtown New York City

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a downtown New York City community. This role manages the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to address any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect data.
• Maintain show units and community spaces to Greystar’s quality standards.
