Maintenance Supervisor – Yonkers, NY

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of its Yonkers community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other community spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance supervision.
