Regional Property Manager – New York

About the role

The Regional Property Manager will oversee the performance and profitability of a portfolio of properties across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. This position develops and implements property management strategies, ensures high tenant satisfaction, and drives financial returns for owners.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties and review financial, market, and operational reports to meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with Community Managers and regional support leaders to improve asset and team performance.
• Lead local and national operational initiatives, ensuring adoption of revised protocols.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial targets, and prepare regular performance reports for ownership and senior management.
• Foster positive tenant relationships, address concerns promptly, and implement retention programs to reduce turnover and vacancies.
• Work closely with leasing teams to optimize occupancy and rental rates.

Required profile

• 5+ years of third‑party Class A multi‑site or regional property management experience in the New York City market.
• Ability to oversee operations across NYC, Long Island, and Westchester.
• Experience with rent‑stabilized and/or affordable housing portfolios preferred.
