Leasing Professional - Carlyle

About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for the Carlyle community in Irvine, California. The role coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, handling leasing to new residents, keeping residents satisfied during the lease and securing renewals. The property is stabilized with 156 units.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule repairs with the maintenance team.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs.
• Run marketing activities such as referrals and employer outreach, and use online tools like Craigslist, Facebook and e-mail.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of leasing experience; previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, plus a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work in all weather; occasional travel to other properties and flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Yardi and CRM experience preferred.
• On-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi).

• Pay of $21.00-$23.00 per hour, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses for onsite positions.
