Leasing Professional - Marlowe Natomas

About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for the Marlowe Natomas community in Sacramento, California. The position coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, handling leasing to new residents, resident satisfaction and lease renewals. The community is a 378-unit garden-style lease-up.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and leasing: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, show apartments, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with maintenance.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referrals, employer outreach and online advertising, and use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work in all weather; occasional travel to other properties and training; flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Hourly pay of $22.00-$23.00 in Sacramento, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses.
