Leasing Professional - Auxo at Memorial

About the role

A Leasing Professional at the Auxo at Memorial community coordinates marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. The role covers all activities related to leasing new residents, keeping residents satisfied during their tenancy and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in and signing.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with maintenance.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and follow concession and special programs.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach, and use online tools like Craigslist, Facebook and e-mail.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition, and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals by preparing renewal letters and packages and following up with residents before move-out.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and route requests to the right people.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses and certifications required for the position.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Able to stand, walk or sit for long periods, work indoors and outdoors in all weather, and lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help.
• Flexible schedule, including call duty on evenings, weekends and holidays; occasional travel to other properties or training.

• Hourly pay of $15.50 - $18.50, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses depending on onsite or corporate role.
