Leasing Manager - 1611 on Lake Union and Goodwin

About the role

The community at 1611 on Lake Union and Goodwin in Seattle is looking for an experienced Leasing Manager. The Leasing Manager directs marketing, advertising, sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue, occupancy, resident retention and leasing goals, and oversees the on-site leasing team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct marketing, advertising and sales activities, oversee on-site traffic, set rent pricing and concessions, and monitor day-to-day sales and leasing.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans and creative strategies around pricing, incentives and advertising to boost traffic and leases.
• Work with the maintenance team to keep the community's appearance and safety standards, and create mini-models and merchandising to promote the apartments.
• Generate and monitor traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation and complete move-in procedures.
• Analyze financial, shop, closing ratio and other operational reports, and present results to clients, owners and business managers.
• Oversee the lease renewal program, manage resident move-outs, and respond promptly to resident and owner questions and concerns.
• Supervise the leasing team by interviewing, hiring, orienting and training staff, and managing their performance.

Required profile

• Previous multi-family leasing experience; luxury high-rise experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively, complete legal documents, sell apartment features and answer resident questions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, and all state and local licenses required for the position.
• Able to work flexible hours, including call duty on evenings, weekends and holidays, and occasional travel to other properties.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Property management software such as Yardi or One Site is desired but not required.
