Leasing Consultant (Lease-Up) – The Summerfield

About the role

As a Leasing Consultant for The Summerfield, you will be instrumental during the lease‑up phase, helping to launch the community in the market, drive occupancy, and foster resident retention. You will act as the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications, and move‑in while delivering an exceptional living experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property tours, qualify prospects, and manage the full leasing cycle from application to lease signing.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Collect and record resident information at move‑in.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and marketing strategies.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and special promotions.
• Plan and host community events to build a vibrant, connected resident experience.
