Lease-up Leasing Professional

About the role

The Lease‑up Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for The Line community in Seattle. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and resident move‑in, while ensuring high resident satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in, verify readiness, and schedule any maintenance needed.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or sales with a track record of meeting occupancy and revenue goals.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to generate qualified traffic.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills for interacting with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation, move‑in coordination, and unit inspections.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
