Lead Software Engineer – Workday Integrations & Security

About the role

The Lead Software Engineer will provide technical leadership for designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise‑wide software solutions, with a focus on Workday integrations and security. You will partner with business, architecture, security and product teams to deliver scalable, secure and maintainable technology aligned with enterprise objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑performing applications, APIs, integrations and databases while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead technical design sessions, code reviews and architecture discussions, driving technology decisions and ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
• Mentor engineering teams, establish engineering standards, and coordinate large‑scale initiatives across multiple projects.
• Provide technical guidance for complex integration and security challenges, support production incidents and drive automation, DevSecOps and SRE practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in application development, production support, database administration or system engineering using Microsoft stack or equivalent technologies.
• Strong background in Workday integrations (Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP) and Workday security administration.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence technology roadmaps and ensure compliance with audit, risk and segregation‑of‑duties requirements.
