Lead Program Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of complex, cross‑functional programs. You will champion program excellence, oversee governance, and align outcomes with the company’s sustainability and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Program Delivery Excellence (PDE) and enforce work standardization across projects.
• Drive adoption of tools such as JIRA and AHA while maintaining data integrity.
• Develop and maintain program scoring models, roadmaps, OKRs and KPIs.
• Oversee work intake, prioritization, planning and provide project oversight aligned with technical imperatives.
• Deliver accurate reporting to stakeholders and ensure compliance with Mastercard program standards.
• Lead stakeholder communication, change management and represent programs in executive forums.
• Manage contracts, renewals, strategic funds, staffing plans and discretionary spend.
• Identify program risks, create mitigation plans and enforce quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in multi‑project or program management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive measurable outcomes.
