Software Engineer II – Analytics Platform

About the role

Mastercard’s Portfolio Intelligence team is looking for a Software Engineer II to help build a high‑performance analytics platform. You will work on real‑time, interactive applications that enable thousands of global clients to benchmark portfolio performance and generate actionable dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, service‑oriented software architectures for analytics‑driven applications.
• Build and continuously enhance robust web applications used by global clients.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following modern design patterns.
• Participate in peer code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.
• Create algorithms and analytical techniques for on‑the‑fly processing across many dimensions.
• Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from design to testing.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams in the US and India to deliver resilient solutions.

Required profile

• Full‑stack development experience with a focus on real‑time, interactive web applications.
• Comfort working in an agile environment with continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Ability to work on‑site three days a week in a hybrid setting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
