Lead Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System at Medina Hospital, a nationally recognized facility known for delivering safe, patient‑centered care and receiving prestigious quality awards. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician you will help ensure timely and accurate medication delivery for inpatient units.

Key responsibilities

• Support inpatient pharmacy operations, including preparing, retrieving, and delivering medications to hospital floors.
• Assist IV room operations by providing medications and supplies to sterile compounding technicians.
• Participate in Pyxis optimization initiatives and help train pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Rotate through various pharmacy technician positions and work every third weekend, covering day, evening, night and weekend shifts as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification verified by PTCB or NHA.
• Registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician within six months of hire.
• At least two years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a relevant practice area.
• Ability to operate a computer.
