Lead Multiskilled Technician IV

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Lead Multiskilled Technician IV for its team in Waukesha, WI. The role responds to work orders, troubleshoots and provides preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing systems such as pumps, motors, PLC and CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and coolant systems. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Identify and correct safety-related issues and evaluate equipment independently to spot potential failures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and perform quality control checks on products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance, operate production machines and tools, and keep accurate records of production processes and results.
• Communicate effectively with the team and the customer to solve complex electrical and mechanical problems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Five to seven years of experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in an aerial or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes and air handlers.
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends, and to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check; no sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, climb ladders and stairs, and walk extensively through the plant.
