Production Maintenance Technician IV (AWS Days)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician IV in Waukesha, WI, working AWS days (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial production systems, including electrical systems, pumps, motors, PLC and CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and coolant systems. The pay range is $30-$38 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Identify and correct safety-related issues and evaluate equipment for potential failures
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform quality control checks on products
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals
• Operate production machines and tools and keep accurate records of production processes

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five to seven years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work in an aerial or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, climb ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive bending, squatting, kneeling and stretching
• Ability to walk extensively through the plant during a shift
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends, and to wear PPE such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves and hard hats

Required skills

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes and air handlers
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment
