About the role
The Lead Kitchen Agent (also referred to as Lead Edibles Agent) oversees daily edible production and packaging operations on the first‑shift team. You will create a safe, high‑performing workplace that guarantees product quality, maintains appropriate inventory, and complies with GFSI and GMP standards.
Key responsibilities
- Participate actively in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and provide regular coaching or corrective actions.
- Supervise kitchen and packaging agents, delivering motivation, training, and professional development.
- Enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing formulas.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Ensure quality objectives are met through consistent GMP compliance, sanitation audits, and food‑safety practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience in food or edible production environments.
- Strong knowledge of GFSI and GMP standards.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop production staff.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary workplace.
- Attention to detail in following SOPs and manufacturing formulas.
