Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer

About the role

The Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of large, complex infrastructure systems. This senior position provides technical ownership and sets standards for core technologies across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction and mentorship for the infrastructure team, planning workloads and supporting professional development.
• Lead day‑to‑day operational support for core server, tier‑3 applications and enterprise platforms, including design, build, patch, test and deployment.
• Coordinate testing, software patching, upgrades and infrastructure changes to improve performance, resiliency and efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation such as topology diagrams, procedures and configuration records.
• Manage vendor relationships, budget preparation, cost analysis and long‑range planning for infrastructure needs.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Technical degree or Bachelor’s in Infrastructure Engineering or related discipline.

• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, LDAP, Kerberos, DFS, File Shares.
• Server platforms: Windows Server, Linux, Hyper‑V, virtualization, SAN storage, load balancing and clustering.
• Cloud technologies: Azure, Office 365, AWS.
• Networking: LAN/WAN/VPN protocols.
• Messaging and collaboration: Exchange, Lync, Skype, Teams.
• Telecommunication systems: Avaya, contact‑center platforms, Workforce Optimization, IVR.
