Lead Business Strategy

About the role

AT&T's Transformation and Supply Chain (TSC) Strategy Team is looking for a Lead Business Strategy professional to join its small teams and lead projects that support senior leadership. The role sits in the TSC team, which focuses on collaborative problem-solving, strategic analysis and analytical support to shape AT&T's cost structure and future investments across its supply chain and wireline networks. It is a full-time, onsite role in Atlanta, Georgia, five days per week, with no relocation offered.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic and competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend and engagement.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges for the TSC organization.
• Support negotiations with industry analytics, competitive event strategy and "should cost" benchmarking.
• Deliver market intelligence such as M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments and supply chain visibility.
• Craft actionable, innovative recommendations and solutions that drive transformation of operations and cost structure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, analytics, strategy or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a supply chain-related field; MBA preferred.
• Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and ability to deconstruct complex problems with data-driven solutions.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources to build financial and operational models.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines; strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: background in management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy, exposure to telecom or technology, and familiarity with software, mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
