Law Enforcement Officer / Corporal / Senior Corporal

About the role

As a Law Enforcement Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, you will protect staff, assets and the public by enforcing Federal Reserve policies, regulations and applicable federal laws. The position is based on‑site in Miami and requires a commitment to respond to incidents and emergencies at any time.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the building and grounds, respond to alarms and provide emergency services.
• Enforce Federal Reserve policies, regulations and federal laws on Bank property.
• Monitor surveillance systems, intercoms, radios and other security equipment.
• Control pedestrian and vehicle access using screening equipment and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Prepare shift, incident and other required reports.
• Handle weapons, explosive devices and sensitive information with sound judgment.

Required profile

• Maintain the designation required to operate as a Federal Reserve law enforcement officer under Section 11(q) of the Federal Reserve Act.
• Meet all department standards and training requirements.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in life‑safety situations and discreet handling of incidents.
