About the role
The Laundry Attendant ensures all linens and towels are cleaned, folded, and distributed according to brand standards, supporting overall guest satisfaction. This position works closely with housekeeping and other hotel staff to maintain a smooth laundry operation.
Key responsibilities
- Sort, count, and pre‑treat soiled linen for laundering.
- Load and unload washers and dryers, and maintain equipment as trained.
- Fold, store, and distribute towels and linens to guest rooms and public areas.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and operate heavy machinery.
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks during staffing shortages and keep work areas clean.
