Language and Culture Coach - Spanish

About the role

The Greece Central School District is seeking a passionate Language and Culture Coach to deliver Spanish language and cultural instruction to students and staff. This part‑time position supports the district’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by fostering cultural awareness across the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging cultural lessons in both Spanish and English.
• Promote cultural awareness and appreciation among students, families, and staff.
• Provide support to multilingual students under the guidance of a certified teacher.
• Assist staff with information about students' language and cultural backgrounds to inform instructional planning.
• Communicate and partner with families to reinforce cultural learning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Multilingual Education.

Required profile

• Proficiency in oral and written Spanish.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• New York State Teaching Certification (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated cultural competency.
