About the role
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Lab Database Admin to support its Bioanalytical laboratories by managing electronic information within laboratory database systems. This remote, full‑time position requires meticulous attention to data accuracy and the ability to work within regulated laboratory environments.
Key responsibilities
- Review database import requests for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Provide timely updates on pending and completed database imports.
- Implement quality‑control review procedures to ensure reliable data imports.
- Participate in internal audits and database content reviews.
- Support quality‑assurance and quality‑control activities.
- Perform corrective and preventative actions when required.
- Assist with special projects related to database management and quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support laboratory data operations.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred) with at least four years of comparable experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, preferably in regulated industry environments.
- Demonstrated administrative competence and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
