Kitchen & Bath Dealer Outside Sales Representative

About the role

Richelieu, a North American distributor, importer and manufacturer of specialty hardware, is looking for a Kitchen & Bath Dealer Sales Representative to grow its Kitchen & Bath Dealer segment. The candidate must live in the assigned sales territory and manage day-to-day sales activities and the overall relationship with Kitchen & Bath dealers, acting as a business advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales of Richelieu's premium solutions through consultative sales discussions and act as a business advisor to clients
• Identify key major account opportunities and drive sales growth in the region
• Schedule and hold face-to-face and virtual meetings with new and existing customers
• Grow the territory through new customer acquisition and strengthening existing relationships
• Analyze past buying patterns of current accounts and propose ways to become a stronger supplier
• Stay up to date with product offerings, market conditions and competitive analysis
• Maintain CRM system information and reporting

Required profile

• Successful consultative outside sales experience with the Kitchen & Bath dealer segment
• Proactive, coachable, strong work ethic and ability to manage your own time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical, planning, organizing and monitoring skills
• University degree preferred but not required
• Ability to lift, push or carry items up to 50 pounds occasionally

Required skills

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
