Junior Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Frontend Developer to join Capgemini’s engineering team in Atlanta. You will work on modern web and mobile applications, collaborating with senior engineers, designers and product owners while using AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user‑facing features for web applications using React, Angular or Vue.
• Support mobile application initiatives as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following established architecture and state‑management patterns.
• Troubleshoot defects, implement enhancements, and incorporate feedback from QA and stakeholders.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and technical documentation.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience focused on frontend technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
