Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join D2 Tech Services as a Junior DevOps Engineer supporting a high‑profile intelligence customer. You will work on the Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, delivering secure, cost‑effective cloud and on‑prem solutions in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and optimize service deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Integrate platform services with enterprise authentication systems.
• Establish and improve system monitoring while maintaining security protocols.
• Architect, build, and maintain on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, including autoscaling and cost‑optimization.
• Administer production, staging, and development environments and manage server logs.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply configuration‑management best practices.
• Enforce security and reliability standards, including access control and vulnerability testing.
• Participate in SAFe and Scrum ceremonies and provide on‑call support.

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant DevOps or cloud‑operations experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in the designated location.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with focus on end‑user experience.
