Junior Developer

About the role

Best Logistics Group is looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join its IT team. You will work on a variety of applications, integrations and automated solutions that support business operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications and integrations.
• Write and maintain Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures and other database solutions.
• Use Git and other version‑control tools to manage code.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools for productivity and troubleshooting.
• Support EDI integrations, data mapping and electronic transaction troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers, IT staff and business departments to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of software development concepts and programming logic.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Familiarity with source‑code repositories and version control, preferably Git.
• Comfort with AI‑assisted development tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
