Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Spark Power Corp USA is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, with the ability to travel as needed for work. The ideal candidate will install electrical systems according to current codes and customer specifications, perform jobs safely and efficiently, and keep customers and equipment running.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
• Run and terminate conduit (EMT, GRC, PVC, stainless steel) and wire.
• Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment.
• Order required parts and manage job materials using the company computer system.
• Complete work orders per client specifications and review completed jobs with customers.
• Maintain a clean work area and proactively prepare for upcoming work.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, or institutional sectors.
• Valid state electrician license preferred.
• Experience with conduit runs (1/2" – 2").
• Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial installations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
• Working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and other electrical codes.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills and problem‑solving aptitude.
