Job Controller – Automotive

About the role

Zayani Motors is seeking an experienced Job Controller to oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring high‑quality, timely, and profitable vehicle repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workshop flow, bay utilization, labor efficiency and overall profitability.
• Analyze repeat repairs, conduct road tests and quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Lead, coach and motivate workshop staff, identify training needs and mentor apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, DOS, warranty guidelines and health & safety regulations.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and generate technical reports.
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure parts availability and communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or related certificate.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar automotive role.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle stress effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant automotive software.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations.
