Job Coach / Supportive Employment Technician

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Employment Specialists/Job Coaches to provide one‑on‑one support, coaching, and training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in community work settings. The role focuses on helping participants explore career interests, secure employment, and develop the skills needed for long‑term job success.

Key responsibilities

• Empower individuals to obtain meaningful employment.
• Monitor progress and enhance job skills through documentation.
• Educate employers on the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
• Advocate for inclusion, reasonable accommodations, and workplace adjustments.
• Make a positive impact on the local community.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working with IDD.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Availability for day and evening shifts.
• ACRE and/or CESP certification required.
