IT System Administrator

About the role

Idea Nuova is looking for a proactive IT Systems Administrator to maintain and optimise its technology infrastructure across multiple business functions. The role involves managing cloud platforms, network services, security tools and end‑user support to ensure operational efficiency and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimise Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Intune and other cloud‑based systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support administration of servers, storage, networking equipment and business‑critical applications.
• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, networking and infrastructure issues.
• Handle employee onboarding, off‑boarding, device deployment and user access administration.
• Maintain cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, access controls and respond to security alerts.
• Manage backup systems, disaster recovery processes and business continuity initiatives.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline IT administration.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, licensing records and coordinate with vendors.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra and Intune.
• Proven ability to support networking infrastructure and security systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation.
