IT Program Coordinator I

About the role
The IT Program Coordinator I will support Technology Services at Texas A&M University by planning, developing, and delivering technology‑driven programs. You will work closely with IT leaders, engineers, vendors, and program participants to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with IT leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate technology programs.
- Define goals, policies, and procedures while troubleshooting and researching solutions.
- Assess client needs, map business processes, and support engineering projects.
- Maintain program documentation, membership records, and produce reports, agendas, and minutes.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, newsletters, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage vendor quotes, contract renewals, and create web documentation for product‑receiving.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of professional experience in a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with clarity.
Required skills
- Experience with document repositories such as Laserfiche.
- Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management practices.
- Networking fundamentals.
