IT Enterprise Bus Analyst Supervisor

About the role

The State Purchasing Division seeks an experienced IT Enterprise Bus Analyst Supervisor to lead a team of Business Analysts. You will manage operational and technology initiatives that support procurement applications such as P‑Card, requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Business Analysts delivering end‑user support, release management, application enhancements, process optimization, and integration projects.
• Create executable work plans for each initiative, defining scope, milestones, risks, and completion criteria.
• Supervise staff by setting goals, assigning work, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
• Document requirements, evaluate system behavior, and support root‑cause analysis for integrations and data flows.
• Develop and coordinate test plans, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and validation of production results.
• Ensure recurring issues are resolved and incorporated into future improvements.
• Maintain clear status reporting, decision records, risk logs, and documentation for stakeholders.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with five years of related experience, including three years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives from assignment through completion.
• Strong supervisory skills: delegation, performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Business analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Application lifecycle management and release management practices.
• Technical understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with procurement platforms such as JAGGAER or Workday.
