ISE Planning Project Manager

About the role

The ISE Planning Project Manager manages the detailed planning strategy, scope and implementation plans for large projects that directly affect customers' shopping experience in Home Depot stores. The role oversees multiple cross-functional, cross-company project teams of 10+ people and delivers projects on time, in scope and within budget. It reports to the Senior Manager of ISE Project Planning and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple cross-functional, cross-company project teams of 10+ people.
• Help merchants and suppliers define project strategy, objectives, scope and business requirements, and recommend ways to execute them.
• Keep all impacted stakeholders involved throughout the project lifecycle and secure the resources needed for execution.
• Communicate expectations, share information and hold partners accountable.
• Resolve issues and issues.

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: experience managing large, complex, matrixed projects.
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
• Education: high school diploma or GED; 4 years of work experience.

Working conditions

• Typically involves 5% to 20% overnight travel.
• Mostly sits in a comfortable position, with occasional need to move or lift light items.
• Work takes place indoors in a comfortable setting.
