iOS Developer – Streaming Media & OTT Platform (Dallas)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance native iOS applications focused on streaming media, connected devices, and OTT experiences. Working onsite in Dallas within an agile product team, you will own feature development from architecture decisions through App Store delivery, serving millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit for streaming and connected‑device use cases.
• Implement and optimise video playback features (HLS, adaptive bitrate, DRM, buffering) with AVFoundation and AVKit.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs for content delivery, authentication, and real‑time data sync across iOS and tvOS.
• Build scalable architecture following MVVM, Clean Architecture or VIPER, ensuring testability and maintainability.
• Write unit and UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest; contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent).
• Collaborate with UX, backend, and QA teams to define requirements, review designs, and deliver polished, accessible interfaces.
• Debug, profile, and resolve performance, memory, and playback issues using Xcode Instruments.
• Manage App Store submissions, release preparation, and deployment in compliance with Apple guidelines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience with at least one shipped production app.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and deep familiarity with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and the iOS SDK.
• Hands‑on experience with media frameworks (AVFoundation, AVKit) and streaming technologies (HLS, DRM).
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER) and SOLID principles.
• Experience with memory management, concurrency (GCD, async/await), and performance tuning.
