Invoice Compliance Analyst

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Invoice Compliance Analyst to join its Revenue & Compliance team in Urbandale, Iowa. The role combines technical rigor with cross-functional collaboration: auditing revenue documentation, partnering with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and driving process improvements. It is a hybrid position with a minimum of six days per month in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Audit revenue documentation and reconcile client records to ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX, SSAE16, tax regulations and US/local GAAP.
• Work with internal business partners to obtain or update missing or inaccurate documentation to complete audits.
• Prepare or analyse accounting reports and consolidated statements to reconcile revenue for client records, presenting findings to client teams and senior managers as needed.
• Help develop, implement and document internal accounting policies and onshore/offshore team transitions, including process improvements for revenue review and invoicing.
• Review and guide the work of junior accountants and offshore staff, and give advice and training to colleagues and client teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field; an Associate's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience is also considered.
• 1-2 years of experience in reconciliations and compliance reviews, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• An advantage: Oracle experience.
