Investment Banking Analyst

About the role

Santander is seeking motivated analysts to join its Global Graduate Training Program in Investment Banking. As an Analyst you will support deal execution, financial analysis and client relationship management across multiple industry coverage groups.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for M&A, LBO and capital‑raising transactions.
• Conduct company and industry research, prepare pitch books and support deal origination.
• Assist in due diligence, documentation and client communications for live transactions.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and product partners on strategic advisory and capital markets mandates.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of presentation materials and client deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in finance, business or a related sector (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products.
• Relevant certifications such as SIE, Series 79 or Series 63 are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Financial modeling expertise.
