Investment Banking Analyst – Healthcare (Life Sciences / Biopharma)

About the role

The Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking an Analyst to support a variety of advisory and capital‑raising transactions for life‑sciences and biopharma clients. This role offers hands‑on experience in transaction execution, financial analysis, and strategic advisory within a fast‑paced investment banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support equity financings, M&A, and strategic advisory transactions for life‑sciences clients.
• Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, management presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses for live deals and pitches.
• Conduct industry, company, and product research across therapeutic areas.
• Participate in client meetings, investor presentations, and drafting sessions for underwriting and advisory engagements.
• Perform comprehensive due‑diligence and provide analytical support to senior bankers and deal teams.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of investment banking experience; life‑sciences/biopharma exposure preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting M&A, capital‑markets, and strategic advisory assignments.
• General knowledge of life‑sciences and biopharma industry trends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Series 63 and 79 licenses are preferred.
