Investment Banking Analyst – Full Time (NY)

About the role

Santander is seeking a full‑time Investment Banking Analyst for its New York office. As part of the CIB GIG‑IC6 team, you will join a Global Graduate Training Program designed to build foundational finance, technical, and professional skills for a career in investment banking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop core financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills through a structured graduate program.
• Conduct company and industry research, prepare pitch books, and support deal origination efforts.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for M&A, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), and capital‑raising transactions.
• Assist in the execution of live deals, including due diligence, documentation, and client communications.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and product partners on strategic advisory and capital‑markets mandates.
• Ensure accuracy and high quality of presentation materials and client deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in finance, business, or a related sector (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment‑banking products.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑starter attitude with a proactive approach.
