Investment Analyst – Retail Real Estate

About the role

As an Investment Analyst you will partner with senior members of the Investments team to source, underwrite, and acquire high‑quality neighborhood retail and mixed‑use assets across the United States. You will be responsible for financial analysis, due‑diligence coordination, and presenting investment opportunities to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytics, research, and advanced financial modeling for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Use Argus Enterprise and Excel to calculate income growth, IRRs, equity multiples, and return on capital.
• Manage the due‑diligence process, including third‑party reports, site visits, lease abstraction, and financial statement reconciliation.
• Support debt capital markets and investment management functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and tenant analysis.
• Prepare written investment committee memorandums and participate in committee meetings.
• Monitor economic and demographic trends in target markets and sub‑markets.
