Interventional Radiology Technologist - Neuro Expansion

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding its state‑of‑the‑art facility and seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support neurovascular procedures. You will work alongside physicians to perform image‑guided diagnostics and therapies, contributing to the care of patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians with minimally invasive neurovascular procedures such as diagnostic arteriography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombolysis.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment to capture high‑quality images of the cerebral vasculature and record procedural data.
• Maintain sterile technique, monitor patient safety and comfort, and ensure proper contrast usage.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, providing emergency support during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently, especially during after‑hours call‑in emergencies.

Required skills

• Fluoroscopic imaging and vascular equipment operation.
• Knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique for interventional procedures.
• Understanding of vascular anatomy, pathology, and contrast agents.
