Interventional Radiology Technologist – Neuro Expansion

About the role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute’s new state‑of‑the‑art facility. You will support physicians in minimally invasive, image‑guided neurovascular procedures, helping diagnose and treat complex neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic arteriography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombolysis using fluoroscopic equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique, monitor patient safety and comfort, and record procedural data such as injection volumes and fluoroscopic time.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment, and ensure proper equipment maintenance and timely repairs.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work full‑time days with rotating on‑call evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Fluoroscopic imaging and image acquisition of cerebral vasculature.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and radiologic physics.
• Proficiency in sterile/aseptic technique for interventional procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and patient education skills.
