Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

The Internal Medicine Physician will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in our Los Angeles clinic. The role emphasizes preventive health, accurate diagnosis, and compassionate treatment while supporting clinic leadership as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct history taking and physical examinations for adults and children, including pre‑employment, school, sports, and well‑child screenings.
• Perform Pap smears, breast exams, birth‑control counseling and prescribing, and other preventive services.
• Review lab and imaging results, document diagnoses, and arrange appropriate follow‑up care.
• Provide health education, respond to pharmacy and physician inquiries, and triage walk‑in patients when nursing staff are unavailable.
• Supervise physician assistants, nurse practitioners, residents, and medical students; assist in staff training and quality‑assurance activities.

Required profile

• Current California Medical License.
• MD degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Active DEA registration.
• Board certification or eligibility in a primary‑care specialty (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of community standard of care and ability to lead clinic operations.
