Internal Auditor II

About the role

HCSC is hiring an Internal Auditor II in Chicago. The position is responsible for conducting regulatory exams and internal audits independently, in line with management direction. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office, and no visa sponsorship is available.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related business or health field.
• 2 years of audit and audit project management experience, or 6 years combined audit and consulting experience in a complex managed care, insurance, financial or operational environment.
• Ability to lead audit and advisory engagements with supervisory skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Team player who can also work independently, with good business judgment and time-management skills.
• PREFERRED: professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA or CFSA; knowledge of corporate health and life operations, compliance support, code of conduct and corporate policies.

• Data analytics and corporate standard office applications.
• Database and spreadsheet applications, computer-aided audit tools and web browser technology.
• Audit, accounting, finance and systems analysis skills, including manual systems, word processing and database software.

What we offer

• Base pay range of $55,900 to $123,500, varying with skills, experience and location.
