Intern, Global Accounting - Wine & Spirits

About the role

The Global Accounting team is seeking a motivated intern to support month‑end close activities and various accounting projects within the wine & spirits division. This role offers hands‑on experience with journal entries, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Draft journal entries in SAP and OneStream.
• Analyze intercompany transactions and prepare related entries.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statement trends and provide variance explanations.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and team initiatives.
• Participate in team and status meetings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as TAaC, Fixed Assets, and FP&A.
• Engage in internship program events, including senior leader meetings and presentations.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Accounting bachelor’s or graduate program, preferably senior year.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts, including U.S. GAAP.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
