Intermediate Architect – Mission-Driven Studio

About the role

We are a boutique architecture studio dedicated to purpose‑driven projects ranging from affordable housing to community centers. As an Intermediate Architect you will work directly with the principal and clients on projects throughout the New York‑Metro and Connecticut areas, taking ownership from schematic design through construction administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, schematic drawings and construction documents using Revit.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, lean studio environment.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring their programmatic goals are met.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Licensed architect (preferred) or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong interest in civic, nonprofit or community‑focused work.
• Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative studio where craft is prioritized.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
