Integration Engineer

About the role

Elligint Health is seeking an Integration Engineer to design and deliver integration solutions for its healthcare platform. Reporting to the Director of Integrations, you will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows to ensure our products meet customer and market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integration pipelines using industry standards and protocols.
• Configure, test, and deploy core data channels, primarily leveraging Mirth Connect.
• Create reusable templates and patterns to accelerate onboarding and reduce support effort.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for new client implementations, providing direct communication and support.
• Triage service requests and support issues to maintain system integrity and uptime.
• Document processes, identify improvement areas, and continuously expand technical knowledge.
• Lead interoperability initiatives involving HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CDA, X12, and related standards.
• Stay current with emerging health‑tech trends, standards, and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Experience working in a healthcare or health‑IT environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Mirth Connect (NextGen) building, deploying, and maintaining production channels.
• Strong understanding of HL7 v2, FHIR, X12, CCD/CDA, and other health data formats.
