About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a tenure‑track Instructor to join its Baccalaureate Education Department. This faculty position involves teaching undergraduate courses, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the university’s mission of education, research, and patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction for assigned courses, including lecture preparation and assessment.
- Develop and revise course materials, syllabi, and learning objectives.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, or professional development.
- Participate in departmental and university service committees.
Required profile
- Relevant graduate degree in the discipline of instruction.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
