About the role

The Install Productivity Manager role at Applied Materials focuses on integrating business units, improving product quality, and driving installation excellence for semiconductor equipment. You will lead design‑for‑installation initiatives, collaborate across product groups, and leverage digital tools to enhance planning and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Business Units to improve Out‑of‑Box Quality and serviceability of system shipments.
• Drive design‑for‑installation initiatives for new products and coordinate installation spending.
• Collaborate with product groups to define install strategies focused on safety, quality, cycle time and cost.
• Enhance supplier testing and analytics to prevent field failures and accelerate training for complex installations.
• Adopt digital tools and AI for predictive planning, quality assurance and standardized governance across BUs.

Required profile

• Broad understanding of systems, theories and practices across multiple domains.
• Strong business acumen to drive financial and operational performance.
• Leadership experience managing managers and executing segment strategies.
• Advanced problem‑solving skills for complex, cross‑functional issues.
